How we’re working with the community
From the beginning, our goal has been to work closely with the people who call this area home. We’re dedicated to supporting the local economy by prioritising local suppliers, creating job opportunities, and fostering a thriving environment where businesses can grow. We’re also investing in local amenities and services that benefit everyone, from schools to green spaces.
As part of our Section 106 commitments, we have established a Stakeholder Group bringing together representatives from a wide range of organisations with an interest in East of Harry Stoke. This includes South Gloucestershire Council, Winterbourne and Stoke Gifford Parish Councils, travel plan coordinators, registered providers, neighbouring developments, and the community development worker for the new neighbourhood.
We hold stakeholder group meetings every six months to provide updates and work collaboratively to identify issues and support progress in delivery of infrastructure and facilities.
As we move forward, we will continue to engage with local stakeholders, adapt our plans, and work together to create a neighbourhood where everyone feels welcome and connected.

Pegasus Group is working in partnership with Wain Homes in the north and Peter Evans Partnership is working with Crest Nicholson in the south.
Travel plans are a key part of promoting sustainable transport options for new housing developments. They outline a range of practical measures to reduce reliance on cars and encourage greener ways of travelling, such as walking, cycling, and using public transport.
By implementing travel plans for East of Harry Stoke, we aim to create a more environmentally friendly and connected community, making it easier for residents to adopt low-carbon travel habits. This includes initiatives like secure bike storage, improved access to public transport, and car-sharing schemes, all designed to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality.
Our travel plans have been carefully tailored to the needs of the local area and ensures that sustainable travel is a simple, convenient, and attractive choice for all residents.
